The annual CROP Walk, an ecumenical project organized by Church World Services to help raise funds to stop world hunger, will be held Sunday, October 17 at 1:00. The walk begins at the Baptist Church in Hamilton and is approximately 2 miles. This year, along with helping combat world hunger, funds will go to Afghani refugees, Haiti, Louisiana Hurricane Ida relief and so much more. We are looking for participants to walk, as well as sponsors and donations to represent our PCA.
The Faith Formation program for our PCA is encouraging parishioners and families to use the CROP Walk, or any other “walk for a cause”, as their service project for the month of October. Donation envelopes are available by contacting Peggy Rhyde email@example.com. For additional information on the CROP Walk, visit crophungerwalk.org/impact.
